SAFEGUARDING CHILDREN AND VULNERABLE ADULTS

    CLOK logo

Orienteering is a fantastic sport with opportunities for all – young and old.  We want you to feel safe and welcome and encourage you to raise any concerns at the earliest opportunity.

CLOK is committed to the principles of Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults and assure you that any concern will be taken very seriously.

If you want to raise a concern, please contact the club Welfare Officer, Carolyn Rigby.  She checks emails several times a day and will get back to you at the earliest opportunity.

Alternatively, you can contact British Orienteering directly.  The Lead Safeguarding Officer, Peter Brooke, can be contacted via 07540-150963.

The British Orienteering web site also has very detailed advice and information.

CLOK members:  There is further information – including how to check whether you should have a DBS check – on the safeguarding page in the Members' area.

You can use this link to go to the CLOK web site home page.
