Enquiries and Download will be in the Visitor Centre.  Please remove muddy shoes when entering the Visitor Centre.

Terrain:

Summerhill is a 100-acre country park and local nature reserve.

There are walking and cycling trails, a BMX track and a boulder park – one of the largest in Europe.

The park has undulating hills and a good mixture of woodland, open and rough ground.  A stream runs through the park and there are a few small ponds.

The majority of the area is mature trees, with fences enclosing the original areas of plantation.  Some of these fences are no longer easy to see.  Many of the trees were originally planted in straight lines, which means that in some areas the runnability is still considerably better in one direction than at right angles to this.

As always, please be considerate to other users of the area.  The park is extensively used by dog walkers, and there are also occasional cyclists passing through.

Courses:

There will be three courses available, with winning times of about 25 minutes:

Open  3.3 km    75m climb
Youth / Vet (M/W18- and M/W55+)    2.7 km45m climb
