Organiser's comments

“Great planning, great map” was one of the comments made about the Stokesley event, and this certainly echoed much of the other feedback.  The two different map scales used on the Long and Medium courses presented some challenges for map printing and SI but seemed to be supported by those running, as it provided greater clarity for the school site part of those courses.

Particularly considering this was Will Rowan's first planning experience, it was a tremendous success and will hopefully lead to many further planning achievements.

Thanks also to Charles Mayes for mentoring and support, Paul Taylor for mapping support, Marion & Peter Archer for equipment preparation, Caroline Mackenzie for making the initial contact with the school, plus Ian Rowan and Rebecca Mayes for support on the day.

All in all, great team created a great day's experience.
