On Monday 8-Apr-2024, a group of CLOK volunteers took the opportunity to give families a fun introduction to orienteering at the Move More event in Darlington town centre.  Participants enjoyed an Orienteering Challenge – a short orienteering course with animal pictures marking the control sites – an 'animal grid' exercise and an opportunity to try a range of virtual orienteering courses using the MapRun app.

There was a really good turn-out, and the CLOK volunteers were kept busy for pretty much the whole day.  After the event, CLOK Chair Caroline Mackenzie said "Wow, that was really busy!  It was full on all day.  Many thanks to all the volunteers.  We had a great turnout and several families seemed really interested."
