CompassSport Cup Entry System |
![]() |
Introduction
This online system takes entries for a CompassSport Cup event.
There are two stages which, for technical reasons, will not overlap.
Throughout the process, you will be able to see 'public' lists of club members who have submitted entries so far, but these lists will only include names and age classes. Full start lists will be published after Stage 2 has closed.
Stage 1 entry form
The form will accept entries for up to seven competitors. (If your family or group has more than seven members then you'll need to go through the entry process twice.)
Please provide a contact email address. Your Club Captain will be able to use it to contact you if there are any issues with your entry information, and the event Organiser will be able to use it for any important updates about the event.
Any comments that you add to the entry form will be passed to your Club Captain.
Please ensure that you put your first name and surname in the correct fields. (The entry system will ignore any entry with a blank surname.)
The BOF number field is optional, but if you don't provide your BOF number then you won't get any ranking points for this event.
If you don't have an SI card, leave the relevant field blank. If your club is providing borrowed / hired SI cards, your Club Captain will allocate the SI card number and let you know how to pick up (and return) the SI card. If your Club Captain leaves the SI card field blank then the organising club will provide a hired SI card.
If you don't know your orienteering age class, please ask your Club Captain.
You can't pick a specific CompassSport Cup course at this stage, but the form asks you to select whether you want to run a CompassSport Cup (CSC) course or one of the available colour coded courses. Please note that if you run a colour coded course you will not score any points for your club.
Please provide your mobile phone number and the name and mobile phone number of an emergency contact. These will not be passed to your Club Captain, so if you want him or her to have this information you'll need to communicate it separately.
Your mobile phone number will be used to try to contact you if you forget to download but please don't forget!
If you have a relevant medical condition, please select Yes in the relevant field. After you submit your entries, you will be presented with another form (at the bottom of the acknowledgement page) that enables you to provide relevant information. This information will be made available to the event Organiser and First Aid Team, who will treat it in strict confidence and will only use it if you need medical treatment and are unable to communicate at the time. Please note that the medical information will not be passed to your Club Captain, so if you want him or her to have this information you'll need to communicate it separately.
Entry fees will be handled via your club.
When you click on Submit, your entries will be processed and an acknowledgement will be displayed. If you spot any errors in your entry information or if anything changes before the event please contact your Club Captain, who will be able to make corrections.
If you encounter any problems with this on-line entry facility, please then contact the CLOK webmaster.
