OCAD MAP SIZES

The demo version of OCAD 8 will only work with maps that consist of less than 1,000 mapping objects. To give you an idea of the implications of this limitation, the following table lists the numbers of objects in some of CLOK's maps.

Note that the number of mapping objects doesn't just depend on the physical area of the map. It also depends on the complexity of the terrain and the way that the mapper has done the mapping. As an example, a 1km square extract of the High Dam map contains 2,500 objects!
