Controller's Comments

The quality of this event was affected by the snow which prevented access for mapper, planner and controller from December until the end of February.  I was not inclined to risk introducing mistakes by requesting mapping corrections or course changes with only a few possible visit dates left.

However, there was not a lot I could have requested.  Paul had extended and updated the map, but some blocks he knew were still sketchy, so Chris kept you away from those.  Chris had planned courses of much variety, complete with the parkland at the end – much more fiddly when you are tired.
