Thank you all for coming to our re-invented Acorn Regional Event at Cringle and Cold Moors.  The extended map provided by Paul Taylor (of the 2010 Bonington Mapping Trophy fame) map seemed to be much appreciated, and Chris’s courses well received.  It was lovely to see so many youngsters out there – we nearly ran out of White and Yellow course maps.  This Country Park is ideal for them to get going upon.  And also 21 runs were made on the String Course, albeit some were by the same young folk.

We are so sorry about the muddy way into the car parking and thank you all for your patience and understanding, especially all those CLOK members who pitched in to help direct and push some cars.  It is a great viewing point once you got to the parking.

The combination of age class and colour courses caused us, and some of you, some problems but thanks to Alastair for sorting it all out.  And, finally, congratulations to all the new North East Champions.
