Planner's Comments

Another record turnout on a lovely morning in Stewart Park.  Before we next orienteer here, Middlesbrough Council will begin spending their recent £4m lottery grant on many renovations and upgrades.  So although we updated the map for this event, we'll gladly update it again.  Many thanks to the Park staff for their helpfulness at this event

Property lost by Competitors:  Black Nike bottoms (small size), red Camelbak drinks bottle, orange whistle on green cord.  We will bring these to the final Short race.

Property lost by Organisers:  Blue sack for tent.  Does anyone have it?

The fourth and final event in this Short Race series is a complete contrast to today as we will race around the Teesside University Campus in Middlesbrough.  After the race we will have brief presentations to the series class winners.  Instead of orienteering training, the university sport department are arranging an activity for the juniors so please watch the web site nearer the event for further information.
