Cleveland Orienteering Klub invites you to an Evening Orienteering Event at Cod Beck on Wednesday 19th August 2009 |

| Location: | Parking is at the 'Sheepwash' car park, which is north of Cod Beck Reservoir on the Osmotherley to Swainby road at grid ref SE 469994. | ||||||
| Terrain: | Mixed woodland with a good network of paths, walls and ditches, plus a small area of moorland. | ||||||
| Courses: |
Short (~2.5 km) Medium (~4 km) Long (~6 km) | ||||||
| Map: | 1:7,500 scale. Pre-marked. | ||||||
| Punching system: | SI system electronic punching will be used. SI-cards can be hired at the event for 50p each. There will be a £25 charge for any lost SI-card. | ||||||
| Registration: | 5:30 - 6:45 p.m. | ||||||
| Starts: | 5:45 - 7 p.m. Courses close at 8:30 p.m. | ||||||
| Fees: | Seniors: £2.00 Juniors / Students / UB40: £1.00 | ||||||
| Facilities: | There will be no toilet facilities at this event. There are very nice public toilets in Osmotherley. | ||||||
| Dogs: | No dogs in the competition area. Dogs are allowed in the parking area, but they must be kept on a lead at all times. | ||||||

Please remember that competitors take part at their own risk. Your
safety whilst orienteering is your own responsibility. CLOK strongly recommends that you carry a whistle whilst participating in this (and every) orienteering event. Please remember that you must report to the finish even if you have not completed your course. |
