| Location: |
Parking is on the south-west side of the A171 about 12 km south of Whitby.
Grid reference NZ 926009. 500 metres west of the Flask Inn, turn on to a minor road signed 'Grouse Hill Caravan Park'. Parking is along the side of the minor road. | |||||||||
| Terrain: | Beautiful, wild and hilly moorland with a small area of broadleaf woodland, including some very good, detailed ares that have not been used before. | |||||||||
| Courses: |
All the normal colour coded courses from White to Brown. Free string course. | |||||||||
| Map: | 1:10,000 scale. | |||||||||
| Punching system: | SPORTident electronic punching will be used. SI cards will be available for hire on the day at a cost of 50p each. There will be a £25 charge for any lost SI-card. | |||||||||

10.00 a.m. - 12.00 noon Note: If you are going to bring a group of competitors to this event then please contact the Organiser in advance so that we can print the right number of extra maps. | |||||||||

This event is taking place on exposed moorland in November. Please dress
accordingly. Please remember that competitors take part at their own risk. Your safety whilst orienteering is your own responsibility. CLOK strongly recommends that you carry a whistle whilst participating in this (and every) orienteering event. Please remember that you must download even if you have not completed your course. |
