Thank you all for coming along - despite the serious disruption caused by the road closures (I think I was more affected than most!) – and for hanging around waiting for me to arrive.

The format of the event may be one that not many people have encountered before (and apologies to those who missed my explanation), and is known in some quarters as a 'Spanish Score'.

I hope that you all found the event a worthwhile way of experiencing one of CLOK's lesser known mapped areas (of which there are quite a few with permanent courses).

I appreciate that it is nice to have SI punching at these evening events, but to do so requires the organiser/planner to spend the afternoon before the event placing the kites and boxes.  For those of us in regular full time employment, this is not an option.

It is just about possible to leave work at 5 p.m. and then (traffic accidents and road closures notwithstanding) run an evening event with a bit of pre-preparation (I hope you all appreciated the vegetation flattening I did the night before!)
