Many thanks to all who turned up to run at Errington.  I am sorry that the panoramic sea views, promised on the flyer, did not materialise.

The fear of vandalism prompted us to use a combination of SI and pin punching and control cards, and I think, largely thanks to Joe Dobbs, it worked.  As it happens the only act of vandalism on the day was that one small warning sign was pulled down and destroyed, but it could have been much worse.

I think that May 11th 2008 must have been declared a CLOK Bank Holiday, judging by the number of CLOK members who were unavailable, but many many thanks to all of you who did help on the day.

Finally, I must thank all the competitors whose run was interrupted or curtailed in order to assist the lady competitor who damaged her ankle.  I am pleased to be able to report that she was able to return home on the Sunday evening and although her ankle was very badly bruised nothing was broken.
