Planning was good and the woods weren't as bad as the final details suggested they might be. I also thought the map printing wasn't as good as it could have been - I didn't even see the trees on the moor until looking more closely afterwards. And well done for organising the superb weather...! |

SUBJECT: Map colours Our Oki 3100 colour laser printer definitely seems to struggle to produce the green colours that we need for orienteering maps. When I was printing the maps for this event I spent about an hour trying to get the OCAD colour table set up to give the right colours on the new waterproof paper. I think I got most of the colours pretty much right, but that was the best that I could do with the greens. If anyone has expertise in this area we'd welcome some advice! |

They were a Silva compass with interchangeable scale and a black whistle attached by a white nylon chord. Thanks for a very enjoyable event. |

I shall compile a list of competitors who entered on that day and they will be eligible for a refund of the excess if they call at the enquiries desk in the village hall. |
