Excellent event. Course 5 had a bit of everything. We came up from Kent and it was well worth the trip. See you again!

Well done Clok.  I know the weather helps but a very enjoyable event.  The hike up to the start was worth it because most of us then got to enjoy the runnable moor in the sunshine.  Also appreciate the photos.

SUBJECT:   Map clarity
Why bother to put these odd isolated trees on the map at all? They appear to be either green circles filled with pale brown or green circles filled with white - or is that to indicate species?

SUBJECT:   Great Event
Thanks for a great event!  Planning was good and the woods weren't as bad as the final details suggested they might be.  I also thought the map printing wasn't as good as it could have been - I didn't even see the trees on the moor until looking more closely afterwards.

And well done for organising the superb weather...!

Excellent course - and great to run on the moor without waist deep bracken!

SUBJECT:   Map colours
Our Oki 3100 colour laser printer definitely seems to struggle to produce the green colours that we need for orienteering maps.  When I was printing the maps for this event I spent about an hour trying to get the OCAD colour table set up to give the right colours on the new waterproof paper.  I think I got most of the colours pretty much right, but that was the best that I could do with the greens.  If anyone has expertise in this area we'd welcome some advice!

Thanks for a great event. One minor point, with my ageing eyes I could have done with a stronger green overprint on the moor, I found the individual trees very difficult to spot

SUBJECT:   Lost compass and whistle
I think this maybe the ones lost by my daughter Claire on the Yellow course. They were a Silva compass with interchangeable scale and a black whistle attached by a white nylon chord.

Thanks for a very enjoyable event.

SUBJECT:   Arncliffe Woods
Thanks for a great event. Sympathetic planning meant we did not get 'beaten up' by the wood but the courses were still technically challenging with plenty of variation. Cheers.
