Cleveland Orienteering Klub invites you to an Evening Orienteering Event at BANK FOOT on Wednesday 27th June 2007 |

| This is the first event of the 2007 Summer Series of evening orienteering events. | ||||||||||||||||
| Location: | The event will be signed from the road junction beside the Clay Bank car park at grid reference NZ 572035. From the B1257 turn east down the minor road towards Ingleby Greenhow. After about 0.5 km, turn right on to a forest road and continue 1.4 km to the parking area. | |||||||||||||||
| Terrain: | There are two parts to the area. The northern strip consists of a relatively flat, partly wooded area that incldes Bank Foot scout camp. To the south is a coniferous forest on the steep slope of the edge of the North York Moors. | |||||||||||||||
| Courses: |
Note: The course lengths given above are based on preliminary planning. The final course lengths may be slightly different. | |||||||||||||||
| Map: | 1:10,000 scale. Pre-marked and bagged. | |||||||||||||||
| Punching system: | SPORTident electronic punching will be used. SI cards will be available for hire on the day at a cost of 50p each. | |||||||||||||||
| Registration: | 6:00 - 6:45 p.m. | |||||||||||||||
| Starts: | 6:15 - 7:00 p.m. Courses close at 8:30 p.m. | |||||||||||||||
| Fees: | Seniors: £3.00 Juniors / Students / UB40: £1.50 | |||||||||||||||
| Facilities: | Orange juice at the finish. No toilets. | |||||||||||||||
| Dogs: | Well-behaved dogs are welcome in the car parking area. | |||||||||||||||

safety whilst orienteering is your own responsibility. You must carry a whistle whilst participating in this event. Whistles will be available on loan from Registration.
