Bike orienteering in and around Cleveland

Together with neighbouring clubs, CLOK works to put on a full programme of Bike-O events.

The well-established North Yorkshire League runs one event per month, mainly on Saturdays and mainly forest-based.  For details, visit www.nymbo.org.uk.

A North East MBO Series (NEMBOS) was started in 2004.  It includes a variety of events in the area between Cleveland and the Scottish border, plus one excursion to an event north of the border.

MBO is currently taking advantage of recent technical developments in map printing and electronic punching.  For example, EMIT 'proximity' punching means that there is no need to stop at controls.

The best source of information on MBO events is the British Mountain Bike Orienteering (BMBO) web site at www.bmbo.org.uk.
Note: The BMBO was previously known as the Trail Cyclists Association (TCA).
