Organiser's Comments
A great turnout of 37 riders – thanks to all.
I hope you enjoyed the ride – the weather stayed reasonable for the day.
Many thanks to Paul Thornton for planning and drawing up the map, and also for
arranging access to Hutton Rudby Village Hall – what a cracking facility.
(We used about 1/3 of the total!).
Thanks also to Phill Batts for printing the maps and to Lorraine for hand
delivering them to me at work!
Finally, an enormous thank you to my daughter Ellie for all her help with
setting up, registration and particularly for serving all those teas, coffees
and hot chocolates (with thanks to Gilly for helping with the washing up!).
That's all for this winter from CLOK on the Lanequest front. All being
well, we'll organise a few more next winter, with hopefully some new areas to
explore. Meanwhile, the NYMBO league organised by Steve Willis kicks off
its 2007 season on 17th March at Cropton Forest near Pickering – full
details are at www.eborienteers.org.uk and at
www.nymbo.org.uk.
There is also the NEMBOS league in the North East of England,
co-ordinated by Trev Naisbett (of which this Hutton Rudby event was the first
